Projet/Project 4 is a Canadian nonprofit based in Montréal, QC. Our mission is to provide 21st century innovations in high school education to professional recording artists aged 16-24 who are seeking a high school diploma by combining the recording arts (audio engineering, beat making, singing/songwriting, audio recording, photography, videography, and more) with a personalized, student-centered, cross-disciplinary, liberal arts high school education on behalf of professional artists aged 16-24 seeking a high school diploma.

Projet/Projet 4 est un organisme à but non lucratif canadien basé en Montréal, QC. Notre mission est d'offrir des innovations du 21e siècle dans l'enseignement secondaire aux artistes professionnels âgés de 16 à 24 ans qui souhaitent obtenir un diplôme d'études secondaires, en combinant les arts de l'enregistrement (ingénierie audio, création de beats, chant/composition, enregistrement audio, photographie, vidéo, et plus encore) avec une éducation secondaire personnalisée, centrée sur l'élève, interdisciplinaire et en arts libéraux, au nom d'artistes professionnels âgés de 16 à 24 ans cherchant un diplôme d'études secondaires.

Our story.

Projet/Project 4 offers our Studio 4 MTL programs to Montréal Nord and Côte-des-Neiges in collaboration with Chalet Kent/NBS Studios and CAUSE. Studio 4 MTL is a High School for Recording Arts-style education program that brings the classroom into the studio to maximize student passions in the recording arts, digital media, and career pathways of interest to support students in working towards their high school diploma, personal growth, and artistic development.

Our goal is to provide young people who have been pushed and kicked out of more traditional school settings and who have an interest in the recording arts and other creative endeavors with the opportunity to earn a high school diploma.

We work with FADA (French Adult Distance Education) and DEAL (English Adult Distance Education) to offer formal high school credit as we seek our own status as a public school. All student registration fees are covered, transportation provided, breakfast and lunch given for free, and a $500 completion stipend granted to those students who met their educational objectives over the course of the pilot program.

Projet/Projet 4 offre nos programmes Studio 4 MTL à Montréal-Nord et Côte-des-Neiges en collaboration avec Chalet Kent/NBS Studios et CAUSE. Studio 4 MTL est un programme éducatif de style High School for Recording Arts qui amène la classe en studio afin de maximiser les passions des élèves pour les arts de l'enregistrement, les médias numériques et les parcours professionnels d'intérêt afin de les soutenir dans la poursuite de leur diplôme d'études secondaires, leur croissance personnelle et leur développement artistique.

Notre objectif est d'offrir aux jeunes qui ont été poussés et exclus des milieux scolaires plus traditionnels, et qui s'intéressent aux arts de l'enregistrement et à d'autres activités créatives, la possibilité d'obtenir un diplôme d'études secondaires.

Nous collaborons avec FADA (French Adult Distance Education) et DEAL (English Adult Distance Education) pour offrir des crédits formels d'études secondaires alors que nous cherchons notre propre statut d'école publique. Tous les frais d'inscription des étudiants sont couverts, le transport est fourni, le déjeuner et le dîner sont offerts gratuitement, et une allocation de complétion de 500 $ est accordée aux élèves ayant atteint leurs objectifs éducatifs au cours du programme pilote.
